Loafus is a Welsh artist, singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist blending grunge, psychedelia, jazz, blues and folk into a sound that is uniquely her own. Loafus's smoky, soulful vocals mix with discordant guitar riffs and melancholic melodies creating a floaty dreamscape drifting from raw to ethereal.
She has performed at many festivals including Boomtown, London Jazz Fest, Blue Lagoon, Big Love, AnExperience, Groundrules, All Roads and more. She was chosen for PRS funded Forté Project in 2024, selected for her song writing ability and unique sound. The project supported her in recording her debut album which is set to be released later this year. As well as overseeing the album's aesthetic, Loafus recorded each instrument and vocal track, and created the album artwork.
Loafus's debut album explores themes such as living for yourself and trusting in the natural flow of life, she also talks about her view of the world. Growing up in an artistic household she was always encouraged to create and stay true to herself, her music is inspired by an eclectic mix of artists who've inspired her from a young age.
Loafus's visual artwork is inspired by her passion for the natural world and often features mushrooms, plants and creatures through a psychedelic lens.
